Merry Christmas Liam
My mother called and asked if we could to a recorded Christmas Card for my young grandson Liam. I said "I'll do you one better. How about a personal Christmas Song from you to Liam?"

Intended Purpose
This is a piano piece I wrote and played on a Yamaha Baby Grand. I then double tracked and playing my Goya Classical guitar, I accompanied myself. Like much of this early work...

I used to play piano in LHS's Jazz Ensemble, and often on weekends I'd play piano for hours in Sloan Music Hall. Great memories.

Palace of Dreams
I was a broke and starving college Senior in the Summer of 1984. Rob came down to visit me one long weekend, bringing his life sustaining supplies of bread, beer, baloney, pasta, musical equipment and a bag of happy mushrooms.
One of the pieces of gear Rob brought along with him was our old friend Billy Swenson’s ‘String Machine,’ a dead synth keyboard. Mice had got inside...

Guitar Jam
My friend Paul Martinez and I were working on a series of 'Guitar Sketches' at my home on Germantown Avenue in 1993. The concept was to offer a syncopated study, paying hommage to the work of Robert Fripp and Adrien Belew. Paul and I both took turns playing my Les Paul.

Aderley's Cannon
My old friend Paul Martinez and I wrote and produced this tune in my living room, at my house on Germantown Avenue, in 1993. The idea was to submit the song as background music for the then pending movie 'Beverly Hills Cop III". But alas, life somehow got in the way.

Liberation and The Return: a tale of redemption and accountability
The Catskills were breathtaking at this time of year. He stood atop the hill, leaning against a massive oak tree, gratefully accepting what shelter it offered against the passing storm. From beneath his hood, he looked out across the valley he had so grown to love these past 50 odd years. His old Scottish Mac challenged the rain, keeping him warm and dry. It seemed like just yesterday he had come to this place, penniless, armed with only hope and a dream.

The Conversion
Blood, flames, prayer and profanity filled the cockpit. If there were no atheists in foxholes, surely there were none in burning fighter aircraft. The Spitfires’s first pass had blown holes through the Junkers crankcase, now uncontrollably bleeding out what remained of its life-sustaining lubrication...
