Valkyrie Dragonsblut™ was inspired by old Norse tales of Sigurd’s epic quest: “Sigurd then slew the mighty dragon Fafnir. Victoriously sheathing his now sanguine blade, Sigurd fortuitously raised a bloody finger to his lips. Tasting the dragon’s mystical blood, Sigurd was transfigured, and instantly achieved enlightenment.

Stepping out from the dragon’s lair and into the bright sunlight of the new day, Sigurd then for the very first time, recognized and understood “Die Vogelgesang,” “The Birdsong,” the divine and mystical language of nature.  Exhaling a long, deep warriors' breath, Sigurd bowed his head in humble acknowledgement; one quest was ending, another just beginning…”
