Valkyrie Goldbaender™ was inspired by The Spirit and Tradition of the Valkyrie, those fearsome warrior goddesses and immortal soul-shepherds reverently spoken of in ancient Norse mythology. Mounted atop majestic, winged steeds of war, few of Oden’s creations were more imperially terrifying, and certainly none were more beautiful. An orchestral cavalcade of celestial music, lightning and thunder was said to have heralded their decent into battle, as Oden watched on from afar...
The Valkyrie’s charge was resolute and moble: to retrieve the souls of their worthy fallen Warrior-Elect. Then, back across the heavens they raced, bearing their Charge home on that most glorious of all journeys; on to a fate and honor so magnificent, so resplendent, which awaited in the triumphant and welcoming Halls of Valhalla. Then, transfigured in part by the Valkyrie’s offering of Sacred Mead, the warriors glorified-self began to emerge; to then be refined and ultimately be perfected, in Oden’s Great Halls...
